Grateful for the three weeks of rest: Of time spent in prayer after obtaining my results; of time spent volunteering; of time just reading both novels and His word alike. Yet, it is time i returned to hospital life.
Lying ahead of me are two exciting weeks. Starting this week will be a stint at the National Cancer Centre under the Radiology Department, before joining a private clinic that specializes in Gastrointestinal Surgery along Adam Road (Finally someplace nearer to home!)
That being said, it's been a great first day. The doctor i'm under, who so happens to be the father of a close friend, has been generous beyond what i can ever ask for. His tendency to extend welcoming arms and his automatic desire to teach (even without my questioning) has made my first day there rich with new knowledge. i can only pray that i'd have a teachable heart and a sponge for a brain that can soak up all these information.
Hoping that my applications to Pathlight School will be successful, along with my visa to China. If all goes fine and dandy, i'd be able to collect my visa by Thursday -
- God willing.
